      Early Intervention and Task Assignments

The purpose of early intervention in a workers compensation injury is to dispatch a case manager to assess the situation and report findings. The objective of this assessment is to address an employee's injury as quickly and efficiently as possible and return the employee safely to work, minimizing recordable workers' compensation and lost time occurrences.

I will provide the information that you need to handle your case:

  Document findings and communicate issues

Facilitate a management team conference to discuss
  the situation

Coordinate referrals for a conservative treatment
program with the best providers available in the
  local area

Monitor employee medical status and recovery
  progress

Focus on returning the employee to productive work

Promote early intervention to benefit all parties

Follow-up in order to facilitate a successful RTW
  outcome
