Transitional Work Program
Injured or ill employees recover more quickly if they are able to maintain near-normal routines. Employees missing work may experience low self-esteem, lack of confidence, fear of job loss, and feelings of isolation. For this reason, it is essential that every effort be made to help your workers remain at work.
I provide the tools to implement a disability management program that helps employees remain in the workplace while recuperating from an injury and/or illness. I can provide clarification to the medical provider that evaluates the workers needs in relationship to specific jobs/job tasks. Transitional work programs include coordinating functional capacity evaluations, job analysis, on-site physical or occupational therapy, job modification, on-the-job training, worksite accommodations etc.
Allowing Miller Case Management Services to assist you in implementing a transitional work program not only benefits the injured worker, but also maintains workplace productivity and routine.
